Hello, I'm
Sospeter.
I'm a Software Developer based in Northampton, UK — focused on building scalable, high-performance systems.

The Journey
I started coding in high school to build PC games for my friends and me. Starting with the Unity game engine and C++, that's when I discovered my real passion — not just making things work, but understanding the systems underneath them.
I moved into web development and quickly levelled up through HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Node.js. But what kept me hooked wasn't the frontend — it was the architecture behind the apps: how data flows, how systems scale, how you build something that holds up under real load.
Over the last few years I've shipped production systems with real-time collaboration, agent-orchestrated task routing, Stripe-powered payment workflows, Supabase RLS-backed multi-tenancy, and Redis rate limiting. Every broken build taught me something. Today I focus on writing code that performs, scales, and doesn't fall over when it matters.
How I Work
I start from the system design, not the UI. Before writing a line of code I think about data flow, concurrency, failure modes, and scale. Then I build outward from there.
- Performance is a feature: Latency and throughput are first-class concerns, not afterthoughts.
- Resilience over convenience: Systems should degrade gracefully — not just work in the happy path.
- Pragmatic, not dogmatic: The right tool for the job, not the newest one on Twitter.
Offline
When I'm not debugging, I'm usually hanging out with friends, or out and about exploring the city. I believe stepping away from the screen is the best way to solve a difficult problem.
